Saturday morning, ten of us walked up Balch Hill. It was kind of a quiet
morning, but here's a list of what we saw and/or heard:

American goldfinch
red-eyed vireo
eastern pewee
American crow
American robin
hermit thrush
wood thrush
ovenbird
scarlet tanager
black capped chickadee
chipping sparrow
common yellowthroat
pine warbler
blue jay
yellow bellied sapsucker
black throated green warbler
indigo bunting
white breasted nuthatch
