Yesterday, beginning about 2:45 and not ending until nearing sunset, crows in
scattered groups crossed over the Connecticut River, flying se to nw, out over
the Ompompanoosuc. Then, later in the evening around 5:45, I found a roost of
200+ crows in the roadside oaks along the Dartmouth campus between the Hop and
Berry Sports Center on the north side of Whelock. Lots of shifting from tree to
tree, lots of noise and agitation.

I returned around 8:15 and birds had settled down.
