First sightings for three species for this spring here in Norwich village were a
Great Blue Heron flying past to the north this morning and a Chipping Sparrow
and a Fox Sparrow this afternoon in the backyard feeding area. Also present this
afternoon in the feeding area were an American Tree Sparrow, 5 Song Sparrows,
and a White-throated Sparrow in addition to at least 15 Dark-eyed Juncos.
