Saw slate colored backed falcon sitting in maple top next to entrance to Kilowatt Boat Launch! Impression of size between Rock Pigeon and Am crow. When able to look with binos, THOUGHT it may have had "sideburns"; but when It flew (the second I had it ALMOST in focus) it seemed to have what i would think were too short wings to be a Peregrine. But I haven't seen many falcons in flight, that I have identified myself! Wish I could have gotten a better non-back-lit look!
