Highlights of the past two morning's stops at Foley Park included a
singing Blackpoll Warbler today and singing Canada Warbler yesterday
(not heard today). The female Orchard Oriole made a brief appearance
yesterday, then flew directly > 50 yards west along shore of the cove,
where another bird (probably the male) flew out to intercept her. I'm
guessing they are nesting on that steep slope, or will soon.

In and around the Milt Frye Nature Area orchard today were a flyover
Green Heron, singing Eastern Bluebird (first I have heard there, but
present only for 30 seconds), singing Wood Thrush, calling Veery.

The 4 bluebird chicks in Hillside Cemetery fledged on Sunday. The Tree
Swallow nest there had 3 eggs yesterday.

Chris
