Out for a drizzly day of conservation easement monitoring in the Bradford/Newbury area today. At Four Corners Farm, we came across redstarts, goldfinches, and numerous bobolinks (my first of the year!). The bobolinks always remind me of R2-D2 from Star Wars with their mechanical/electronic sounds!
