Yesterday my wife saw a Bald Eagle at Spectacle Pond in Croydon. It
wasn't there last night, or this morning, so I assume it was moving
through.

Also, last night while doing yard work I heard my first Hermit Thrush of
the year. He was competing with a displaying American Woodcock.

Other yard birds of interest are a pair of Eastern Bluebirds, half a
dozen Tree Swallows, a dozen or so American Goldfinches and a newly
arrived Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
