*The population of the purple finch - our state bird - has dropped 0% sine
the 1960s.
*The once familiar song of the whippoor-will is silent across more than half
of the area where it was heard just 25 years ago.

Please join the Meriden Bird Club in welcoming Pam Hunt of the NH Audubon
Society presenting her  newly released repot:
The State of New Hampshire's Birds

The program will be on Tuesday, April 20 at 7pm at Singing Hills Conference
Center in Plainfield, NH. All are welcome. Refreshments to follow.

To reach Singing Hills Conference Center on Stage Road in Plainfield, NH,
take either NH12A or NH120 to Stage Rd. Stage Road is at the northern end of
Plainfield Village on NH12A (sign points to Meriden) and at the southern end
of Meriden Village on NH120 (sign points to Plainfield). Singing Hills is
~2m from NH120 and ~4m from NH12A. It's entrance is on the north side of
Stage Road with a large wooden "Singing Hills" sign. Bear left all the way
up the drive.
