There were hundreds and hundreds of Canada Geese, as well as a few ducks, calling and resting on the Connecticut River today about a half mile north of Windsor’s Price Chopper and on upriver. The water level was low and many were resting on the sunny mudbanks while others drifted or paddled on the river. Their noise was stupendous, a spring chorus if I ever heard one!
