I know, Žorvaršur, but as mentioned I have the folder with pictures
along with my music catalogs in an 'Info' folder inside the folder with
the specific artist, so it would be a kind of double-work if I first
shoould put the pictures into iPhoto and from there drag the content
into the 'Info' folder...

Infact I've never really liked iPhoto for collecting pictures. I've
tried more of the other collectors like Aperture and Adobe Lightroom,
but the little I use a catalog application, I always return to the
OlympusMaster 2, which works great along with my Canon EOS D60 and
Samsung ES-55 digital cameras. - In OM 2 the pictures are hosted
directly in folders inside the OM folder, so it's easy just to move
another folder with pictures into that folder. - And when you open OM 2
there is already a list/library also with latest added folders and files.

Working with OM 2 is also much faster than iPhoto, and you can choose
which editor application you want to use from within OM 2, and you can
also select a textprocessor for adding pictures directly into. - In my
case I use Photoshop CS2 and NWP as my selected applications.

Cheers, Erik Richard
