Which type of illustration do you use - GIF, JPEG, TIFF etc.? -
Especially TIFF draws a lot of memory to open... A good advice here
would be to only use illustrations in either GIF, JPEG or even better
for classic EPS - not a mixture of different formats...
To increase memory to NisusWriter 6.5, NW must be quitted. Preferable
would then be, if you can boot into OS 9.x but not a demand...
Mark the NisusWriter application once and use 'Get info'. In the popup
menu at the top, select' Add memory' (if I recall the name right).
Set the minimum size to at least 125mb of memory and set the wanted size
/ prefered size to at least 250mb of memory. Close the 'Get info' window
again.
Go now to the OS 9.x System Folder -> Preferences and find the file
'Nisus Writer Fonts List'. Delete this file. NOTE. Deleting this file
won't affect your document. Close the system folder again and now try to
open the document.
