Of course it's 'Nisus Font Menu Cache' - I mixed up the one from the
AppleWorks with the one from Nisus.:-(

With that much memory allocated? - strange...
Try to put these files onto the desktop with NisusWriter quitted...
- Nisus Table Tool Preferences
- Nisus Writer 6.0 Word Services
- Nisus Writer 6.0 Preferenc copy (why a copy? Name must be
'Nisus Writer 6.0 Preferences')
Now launch NW again by dragging the document icon to the application
icon. If this doesn't work try to open the file from the 'Open' in the
'File' menu.
If this still won't work I'm afraid that you will have to upgrade to
NisusWriter 6.5.x if you're running the ver. 6.0.x.
Another thing that runs through mind mind right now is... Which type of
HD are you using - a 7200rpm with 2mb or 8mb of cache? - It doesn't have
much influence on the OS X part, but might have some influence on the
classic. I have noticed a few times that very large docs won't open on
disks with only 2mb of cache. - I have a bit the same problem right now
with a MDD with only a 2mb cache disk running 10.4.11 + OS 9.2.2 classic
envirement. Very large docs open extremely slow on a 1,25ghz MDD with
only 1gb of phycically memory on the OS 9.x side in both NW 6.5, 5.1.3,
AWKS 6.2.8 and especially in Word 2001, but they open rather fast in
OpenOffice 3.2.1 PPC and AWKS 6.2.9 on the 10.-4.11 side. So it could
also have something to do with too little physically memory installed in
the computer itself.
Don't know whether this can help, but right now I have run out of ideas...
Cheers, Erik Richard
