Also, since it's not the default format, it might be worth investigating the save time. Take a big document and save it in both formats, and time how long the save takes. I would imagine the .zrtf format (which might well be rtf with zip elements incorporated) will take significantly longer.

Proprietary formats do have their advantages if they save additional formatting or something, but that doesn't appear to be the case here. I too would suggest using regular RTF -- unless you're still using a modem and have to e-mail files to another NW user who also has a modem.
