The saving format can be set in:
Preferences > Saving > File Formats

Now I wonder how many people here use Nisus Compressed Rich Text (.zrtf) as the default saving method?

Till now I have saved Nisus files as Rich Text Files (.rtf). After having compared the file size of Rich Text files with Nisus Compressed Rich Text (.zrtf), I wonder if that is a good idea. The file "Macro Language Reference" (accessible under Help > Macro Language Reference) for example is 639 KB as .rtf and only 106 KB as .zrtf, or six times less.

Nisus Compressed Rich Text files can not be opened by any other application but I guess the user can always save the files in a new format if that should be necessary (if I want to share a Nisus file with somebody else, for example)

Is there any other disadvantage with saving files regularly as .zrtf?

If not, the .zrtf file format seems to be the best default file format to go with. Am I right?
