Hello Daniel,

In NWP app, if you enter pointed or unpointed text in Normal Find with the search option “ignore diacritics” you should be able to find both pointed and unpointed occurrences at the same time.

In PDF Expert when pointed (Arabic) text is entered in its Find box, it finds pointed occurrences only. When unpointed text is entered or pasted in its Find box, it finds unpointed occurrences only. Pasted text in PDF Expert’s Find box fails to find occurrences in the PDF if the pasted text includes a directionality mark \x{200E} or \x{200F}. Removing the invisible mark restores the expected behaviour.

I tried some other apps which I have:
PDF Search and Skim behave as PDF Expert.
Preview and PDFpenPro cannot find more than one-letter find expressions.
