I recently bought ILife 11 -- to my regret, a waste of money in my
view, and it's going on to eBay in the hope of making at least a
couple of my wasted dollars back -- having through I had missed out
on iLife 10. Only there wasn't one, was there?

So I went pottering around the Apple store (not the app store) last
night and noted that iWork 09 is still the version on offer. So it
hasn't been upgraded for nearly 2 years.

So -- same updte lage as NWP. Have there been any updates to Pages et
al in the interim?

In the Apps store, the component parts (still 09) are being sold for
a price which adds up to around half the price of the suite from the
Mac Store. Aperture costs $249 in the Mac Store and $99.99 in the
Apps store.

Referring back to the discussion about monopoly, this is what you can
do if you're big enough and have control all the way through. No
thought of the customers except to drag them, laughing and smiling,
into your feedlot -- where they have to pay to eat.

Best regards
