Nisoids

My Phaser 8560 has come back from the people at Xerox and it works on the usb connection.

But when I try to get the installed Xerox software to work for ethernet printing, the system preference pane for printing tells me it is looking for elements to install and that is it. It never installs anything.

I am running 10.6.7 on a two year old unibody:

  Model Name:	MacBook
  Model Identifier:	MacBook5,1
  Processor Name:	Intel Core 2 Duo
  Processor Speed:	2 GHz



Would be grateful for any advice.
