Does this work for you?

1. Open Accounts System Pref;

2. Unlock the lock;

3. Select Login Options;

4. Set "Automatic login" to you;

5. Lock the lock.


I think I see Guest Account in the Accounts pref since Leopard at least. I have never activated it, though.

10.6.5 update does not seem to be available for my Mac mini 2009 yet.
