Please excuse the cross posting

Dear Colleagues,

Our institution in the process of selecting a new course management system
and one of the short-listed options is Desire2Learn. I know only too well
the shortcoming of Blackboard (another short-listed contender) with regard
to Unicode compliance and the display/inputting of foreign language scripts.
But Desire2Learn is an unknown quantity in this respect. If any of you have
had any experience with this system I would very much appreciate hearing
from you about it. With thanks in advance, Jack
