NEALLT 2010
 CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Northeast Association for Language Learning Technology (NEALLT) will hold
its annual conference at Skidmore College, Saratoga Spring, NY, from Friday,
April 9 to Sunday, April 11, 2010. The conference will be hosted by the Foreign
Language Resource Center.

NEALLT is collaborating with a local BOCES Immersion Weekend program designed
for area language teachers as an opportunity to attend workshops in the target
language on a variety of cultural and pedagogical themes.   NEALLT and BOCES
attendees will attend a joint keynote session, followed by 2 sessions offering
NEALLT presentations in the target languages of the language teachers (Chinese,
French, Italian, Spanish).  Please indicate on your proposal whether you would
be willing to give your presentation in one of the target languages.

This year's theme will be "Learning Globally through Web 2.0 Technology." We
welcome proposals for panels and presentations, panel discussions, or posters in
the following categories:

Teaching, learning, and assessment
Technology enhanced testing and assessment
Portfolio assessment
Language lab, Language Center, and Resource Center management
Emerging technologies
Blended distance technologies

Proposals should be for 30-45 minute presentations or demonstrations, 45-60
minute panel discussions, 25-minute posters, or 3-hour pre-conference workshops.
We welcome a variety of perspectives and encourage presentations which report on
ongoing or in-progress projects or research.

Registration:  NEALLT membership is included in the conference registration fee.
