>Subject: Searching for the "Ideal" Language Classroom Equipment

Dear List Members,

We are currently switching our language classrooms over from analog to
digital. The analog labs are equipped with Sony 9000s, and we would like
to preserve many of these features (student grouping, monitoring and
modeling, along with audio, video and visual input, plus individual
station audio taping) in the new digitally equipped classrooms. At this
point we have found individual components which can achieve various
functions separately, but have not located any system or workable
combination which gives us all these functions in the digital realm.

Has anyone else been working on this? Have you had any success? Can you
point me in the direction of resource material that I might have missed
accessing here in Taiwan?

TIA,

LeAnn
