The Malata is a superb unit - what is especially nice is its ease of
use - the user interface is intuitive and clean: no unnecessary bells
and whistles.
However, we are using the Malata DVP-520, not the N996. We paid $329 for
it.
 We have 3 of them, and we'll probably order more.
