Here is what our font guru says on this subject:
"I found a very laborious way to do this.
If you open the character map (under Accessories>System Tools), and select the
Hindi numerals range, (I do this by selecting "group by Unicode subrange", and
then clicking on Arabic), there is a line with the Hindi numerals, copy and
pasting those works.
