The director and the entire staff of our learning center are in the
category called administrative, professional and technical (APT).  We are
not considered faculty.  We are on an 11-month contract with 21 vacation
days per year.  We get all the federal and state holidays, but we do not
get the winter break during Christmas and New Year's (except those
holidays themselves), the spring break or the summer.  Like Mary Lynne
Flowers we also do not get the Friday after Thanksgiving unless we take it
as one of our 21 vacation days.
