As you suspected, this is one of the frequent "VIRUS ALERT" hoaxes which go
around the Internet with instructions to "Send this to everyone in your
address book."  In order to not perpetuate the hoaxes, before sending out a
virus warning, check out one of the many Virus Hoax sites on the Web.  They
list what are known viruses and known hoaxes. Here are four such sites.
