------------------
For the very few students who worry about such things, I advise them to
place a tissue over the ear pieces. One of my student techs is
pre-med, and she said her microbiology prof almost laughed himself half
silly when he was told about this issue. He said that it was akin to
the old stories about catching VD from a toilet seat. The threat of
any problems, unless you have a maggot infected, lice covered student
use the headset, is next to nil.
