Open the Terminal (found in the Applications/Utilities folder) and type the following commands:

cd /Library/FileMaker\ Server/Data/Databases; sudo chmod 0664 *.fp7; sudo chmod 0664 */*.fp7; sudo chown :fmsadmin *.fp7; sudo chown :fmsadmin */*.fp7

The "chmod 0664" command changes the permissions to read/write for the owner of the files and the group, and read-only for everyone else.

The "chown :fmsadmin" command changes the group on the files to 'fmsadmin' which is the group the FileMaker Server process is a member of.

This will fail unless you're an "Admin" on the machine. If you are an Admin, you'll be asked to type in your password to perform the sudo command.

Cheers,
