The Environmental Studies Division of the DOC is showing a movie about
the Landmark Tract parcel of land that Dartmouth owns behind DHMC. The
land includes a lot of trails we bike on regularly out from the DHMC
parking lot. It should be a good documentary with a discussion with
local conservation people and the Dartmouth Real Estate office.

So far Dartmouth has been pretty welcoming of trails on this area, they
don't do a lot of policing or closing of trails and leave maintenance up
to those who use them and so far it's worked out pretty well as there
are some great trails back there. It might be nice to have the voice of
some Dartmouth mountain bikers in any discussion about future use. It's
a great opportunity to demonstrate how we are being good trail stewards
and how we can manage sustainable trails so we can keep biking out there.

Let me know if you have any questions about trail issues or the documentary

-Anson
