Only 20 shares and for Dartmouth students only

$120 for the summer. Cash, Dash, or Check please : )

Our share is Salad Plus, meaning greens throughout with tomatoes, peppers, scallions,
garlic, zucchinis, thyme, basil and ??? as the season progresses.

Blitz "the farm" with questions or to get on the 11x blitz list about farm events,
workdays, potlucks and other information!

What is a CSA you ask?
Community Supported Agriculture began in Germany and Japan, came to Massachusetts
in 1985, and has quickly spread across the US. Under this model, a group of individuals
pay the farmer at the beginning of the season, supporting the farmer during the
initial costly start-up period, but also share in the risk of farming. In return
for their investment, the shareholders receive a weekly portion of the farm's
produce. For our farm, it's a salad plus offering. Given a blight or poor weather,
the shareholder may receive less, but given a banging season, he or she will receive
more food. It's all apart of the model and the shared risk. You also never quiet
know what you'll get until pick up, but that's why CSA shares are so exciting.
Hopefully you'll be introduced to new foods and and the farm will be sharing
our favorite recipes which incorporate those foods. If you're up for an adventure
and want to support an organic student-run farm 3 miles down the road, you should
be at Collis at 3:30 on Wednesday!
