April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month!

Take Back the Night
April 18, 5-7:30pm
Collis Patio
The rally, first conceived in order to reclaim the right to move freely without  
sexual harassment and/or assault, day or night, is an opportunity for the men  
and women to come together to protest all forms of violence. The march will culminate  
in a vigil, a more improvisational form of Speak Out, during which time any and  
all members of the march can share their experiences and feelings having to due  
with assault.

Clothesline Project T-shirt Making
April 19, 4-6pm
Sigma Delta
The Clothesline Project (currently displayed in Collis) was established in 1990  
in order to take sexual abuse "off the backs" of survivors and into the sight  
and mind of the community. Each T-Shirt represents an individual's unique experience  
with sexual assault. The act of hanging up the shirts works to raise awareness  
in the community, help survivors heal, and support survivors who are still finding  
their voices.

"It happens to us as well"
April 24, 4pm
Collis 101
The aim of this discussion is to explore unique issues of sexual assault as they  
pertain to the LGBTQ communities. We will be talking about gender roles andstereotypes  
within these communities as well as available resources. This event is open to  
all Dartmouth Students, LGBTQ and Allies alike.

Bringing in the Bystander
April 25 & 30,3-5pm

This 2hr workshop (full participation required) is a condensed version of the  
original program thatuses a community of responsibility model to teach bystanders  
how to intervene safely and effectively. Its main message is that "Everyone in  
the community has a role to play in ending sexual violence." The curriculum approaches  
both women and men as potential bystanders or witnesses to risky behaviors related  
to sexual violence around them via active learning and participation.

Undue Influence

Undue Influence is the repeat engagement of the DDTE's original dance-theater  
work examining the impulse, incidence and implications of sexual assault in a
