What is the Project:
_________________________________________________

Every year, Dartmouth Hillel takes a group of students from
different ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds
to Eastern Europe for a major Holocaust study and
restoration initiative. In addition to visiting historic
sites such as Auschwitz-Birkenau, we will be working
alongside local villagers and university students to restore
the cemetery of a once vibrant Jewish community. By
immersing ourselves in these foreign cultures, Project
Preservation seeks to restore the past for the future.

This year's project will take place in Korcyna, Poland,
about 3 hours east of Krakow.

travel in Europe after the official end date if they choose
to do so.

on in the spring are eligible to apply. See attached
