** Have you ever thought of using business to do social good? **
** Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in a nonprofit research  
and consulting firm? **
** Do you want to talk to other young professionals who have made careers out  
of it? **

Next Tuesday, we are having a dinner discussion with several associates from Root  
Cause about what kind of career opportunities there in social enterprise. They  
will be discussing what it is like to work in a nonprofit research and consulting  
firm, how they got there, and what are their future plans. We will be catering.  
Please RSVP if you choose to attend.

Speaker Bios:

Art Vilassakdanont D'06

Art started at Root Cause in 2010 as a Fellow for the Social Innovation Forum  
and is now the Special Projects Associate. His main responsibilities include assisting  
the CEO, and conducting research and analysis for various internal and external  
consulting projects.

Previously, Art was a strategy analyst at Merrill Lynch and worked at a start  
up hedge fund in New York. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 2006 with majors  
in History and Engineering modified with Economics.

Cristina Calzadilla

Cristina is a Research Associate at Root Cause; specifically, she supports Social  
Impact Research, the organization's independent research division, which produces  
research reports on diverse social issues and evaluates nonprofit organizations  
to identify high performers across the US.

Previously, Cristina held the position of Account Executive at Cone, a strategic  
communications and cause branding firm. At Cone, she helped develop and implement  
cause-related programs to accomplish social and business objectives for global  
and U.S.-based nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies. Cristina's professional experience  
also includes working as a Consulting Associate at Cambridge Associates, a leading  
provider of independent investment advice and research to institutional investors  
and private clients.

Cristina graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in International Relations  
and concentrations in Conflict Resolution and in Mass Communications and Media  
Studies. She is a Tuck Business Bridge alumna (Session I '07) and a StartingBloc  
Fellow and Boston Regional Board co-chair.

Ron Sinha

Ron joined Root Cause in the fall of 2009 as a Research Associate in the consulting  
practice, where he conducts research and analysis for strategic business plans  
that help client organizations achieve greater social impact and sustainability.  


Previously, Ron was an Analyst in Strategy & Planning at Citigroup, where he worked  
on a worldwide cost-cutting initiative. His professional experience also includes  
internships in corporate finance and investment banking. Ron graduated from Cornell  
University in 2008 with a B.S. in Applied Economics & Management.
