TODAY: OPEN MEETING

Last Thursday, Active Minds lined the patio
behind Novack with 1,100 backpacks. The display
was a national touring event called "Send Silence
Packing", and the backpacks represented the
number of college students who tragically die by
suicide each year. The event aimed to raise
awareness about this important issue, and to
start a conversation about the reality of mental
health at Dartmouth.

After this event, Active Minds is holding a
lunchtime meeting tomorrow that is open to all of
campus, to continue that conversation.
