TODAY Michael Strong and Magatte Wade present:

"Be the Solution: How Entrepreneurship and Conscious Capitalism have the power
to solve all the world's problems"

What drives innovation and improves well-being in the world today?
Is free market capitalism at odds with improving the general welfare of society?

In this talk, Michael Strong and Magette Wade will discuss how free enterprise
and entrepreneurial opportunity are keys to sustainable prosperity for all, challenging
the popular conception of capitalism-as-corporate-greed. Wade, a Senegalese entrepreneur
and founder of highly successful beverage firm Adina World Beverages, will describe
her personal experience challenging the aid paradigm in
Africa and creating a million-dollar business that is both profitable and poverty
alleviating.

MONDAY, November 8
Filene Auditorium, Moore Hall
4:30pm

The talk is catered by Murphy's. Delicious food will be available outside Filene
Auditorium starting at 4:00pm.

You are also invited to a summary and reception at Tuck @ 7pm, in the
Alperin Room (Murdough 3rd floor). The reception is catered by
Canoe Club. Come meet the speakers and mingle with graduate students (or if you
can't make the 4:30 talk)!

This event is hosted by the Dartmouth College Libertarians and co-sponsored by
SEEDS, International Business Council, Students for
Africa, National Society of Black Engineers, the Tuck Entrepreneurship
Club, the Tuck Allwin Initiative, and the Tuck African Ancestry Business Association.
