The Clothesline Project (currently displayed in Collis) was established in 1990 in order to take sexual abuse "off the backs" of survivors and into the sight and mind of the community. Each T-Shirt represents an individual's unique experience with sexual assault. The act of hanging up the shirts works to raise awareness in the community, help survivors heal, and support survivors who are still finding their voices. Come join us at Sigma Delta to support Dartmouth survivors and the movement to end sexual violence at Dartmouth. Make a shirt for yourself as a survivor or in support of a friend, partner, or family member who's experienced sexual violence. All supplies are provided.
