About the Keynote:
Dr. Belinda Chiu is a member of the Dartmouth College Class of 1998 and the founder of Hummingbird Research Coaching Consulting. She has extensive knowledge in developing human capital and education, coaching and counseling, conducting strategic research and analysis, and promoting cross-cultural integration and communication for the public, private, and academic sectors. Dr. Chiu has over ten years of experience in graduate and undergraduate school admissions, corporate recruitment, and career advising, and has been involved with organizations such as Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Dove Consulting Group, Sesame Workshop, and the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program.

About the Topic:
Dr. Chiu will explore how cultural values, particularly Asian and Asian American cultural values, can impact how individuals present themselves in leadership roles as well as how others view them as leaders in the workplace. She will utilize examples from both national research as well as her own experiences working in a number of different professions.

About the Pan Asian Council (PAC):
The Pan Asian Council (PAC) is a proactive umbrella student organization dedicated to setting goals and creating initiatives that are central to the Pan Asian community at Dartmouth, as well as raising awareness of Asian and Asian American issues throughout the College. PAC provides support and resources and works to increase communication among its members.  It also serves as a liaison between the Pan Asian community and other communities at Dartmouth. PAC is housed in the Office of Pluralism and Leadership (OPAL).
