How do you represent a global experience?

Photographs? Documentaries? Blogs? Facebook?

How do you do justice to the people or communities you engaged with?

What are some potential ethical challenges raised by representation?

The Student Initiative on Global Engagement invites you to join us for our second campus forum:

<><> "Representation in Student Service & Research" <><>

The Student Initiative on Global Engagement (SIGE) is supported by the Office of the President through the Milton Sims Kramer '54 Memorial Prize, the Tucker Foundation, and the Dickey Center. SIGE seeks to bring together students passionate about challenging global socioeconomic inequality in order to improve the ethics and efficacy of student service, research, internships, and study in under-served communities in the United States and around the world. The Initiative hosts focused discussions, provides peer-to-peer advising, and produces free resources on global opportunities.
