Next week, (Thursday, Jan. 19th) the Dartmouth Centers Forum
is bringing Taylor Mali to campus to hold both a workshop
and performance based on the theme ?Words & Their
Consequences.?  Mali is a former teacher and has spent the
last twelve years as a performance poet and writer.  Much of
his work speaks to the way we use words and the importance
of speaking with conviction. 

He will host a workshop for undergraduate students on
Thursday 1/19 in ONE Wheelock (basement of Collis) from
4pm-5:30pm. The focus of the workshop will be writing for
performance ? taking something from page to stage.  

His public performance "Words and Their Consequences" will
take place on Thursday, January 19th at 7pm in Collis Common
Ground.  It is free and open to all.
