WANTED: (VERY) SHORT PLAYS
For The 10-Minute Play Festival!
PLAYS -- DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS WED, April 4th @ 10 PM !!!!
Is there something you've always wanted to say, but couldn't say unless it's through
the mouths of characters you create existing in a dramatic space?
Are there reams and reams of original 10 minute play scripts taking up your closet
space?
Have you ever secretly lusted for complete world domination?
If you read any of these questions, you should take part in the
THE 10-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL, sponsored by the Department of Theater.
We are looking for YOU to submit original plays 2 to 15 minutes in length to be
staged on Wednesday, April 11th at 8 pm
n the Bentley Theater!
This is a great chance for first time playwrights to dip their toes into the magic
of live theater and get their voice heard! Even if you normally do narrative writing,
try your hand at a (really) short play! These plays can be about anything.
Literally, anything. Monologues, dialogues, trialogues, silly performance pieces,
dark comedies, dance theater, sketches. Anything that's short, sweet, and theatrically
viable.
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, April 4th by 10 PM! Don't miss out
on this great opportunity to see your work on stage!
Please e-mail Serena Nelson with your plays
(in word or pdf format, please!).

ACTORS:
SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE IN
THE 10-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL!
(Sign up sheets are NOW posted in Shakespeare Alley in the HOP!)
Do you have a tendency toward the dramatic?
Ever wake up wishing your life was scripted and full of theatricality?
Do your ears hang low, do they wobble to and fro; can you tie them in a knot,
can you tie them in a bow?
If you read any of these questions, we want YOU to act in
THE 10-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL on Wednesday,
April 11th at 8 pm in the Bentley Theater
This is a great experience for any first time actors as we try to cast everyone
who signs up!
No nerve-racking auditions necessary!
The time commitment is less than 2 hours of rehearsal per show, as well as a dress

Did we mention it's a really low time commitment?
Rehearsals will be scheduled around your life!
And no memorization is needed!
