CHIMAERA: The Dartmouth Interdisciplinary Review wants to publish your papers, artwork, and creative writing!

The journal is all about bringing different disciplines into conversation on common themes, and this term we're interested in **language, symbols, signs, and codes.**

The theme is VERY broad and relevant to all disciplines, so make of it what you will and send us your best relevant work.

Need some inspiration?...Have you written an art history paper on iconography? A linguistics paper on...linguistics? A biology paper on genetic coding? A cultural theory paper on semiotics? A gov. paper on the language of the Constitution? An English paper on symbolism? Anything somewhat related to language, symbols, signs, or codes? Then send it our way!

We're ALSO always looking for creative, innovative papers of all sorts--whatever the subject matter--so if you've got a interesting or interdisciplinary paper that you're proud of and want to see it in print, submit it to CHIMAERA to be considered for publication in this issue or future issues!

To ensure that your work will be considered for the fall issue, please submit your work by **Wednesday, October 27.** Submissions are welcome throughout the term for consideration for future issues.

Blitz "CHIMAERA" with submissions and questions!

MISSION STATEMENT:

CHIMAERA: The Dartmouth Interdisciplinary Review creates a forum for the exchange of ideas across traditional academic boundaries. With an emphasis on the humanities, CHIMAERA encourages interaction across the academic spectrum, bringing diverse disciplines into conversation on common themes.

Within the review, academic papers are enriched by their juxtaposition with fiction, poetry, and interviews with professors, visiting artists, and scholars.

The review draws submissions from all fields as well as interdisciplinary submissions that transcend the boundaries of single-focus publications.
