Want to hear the Yahoo! story from a member of the initial ten-person team? Ever wondered how venture capital really works?
Come and get the scoop from Matt Rightmire, Tuck '96, on how his experiences at one of America's most successful companies got him where he is today!
Before joining the team at Yahoo!, Matt received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford and his MBA from the Tuck School of Business. He joined Yahoo! in 1995 and played a vital role in helping the company grow from roughly ten members when he joined to over 4000 employees and more than $1 billion in revenue. Matt left Yahoo! to become vice president and general manager of General Media and Entertainment in 2002, and he joined the venture capital firm he works with now - Borealis Ventures - full-time in 2005.
