Many of you whose school list include schools requesting it, will be taking CASPer in the next several weeks. The note below has two parts; suggestions and clarifications to assist you in preparing for the exam, and some frameworks for ethical decision making.

CASPer is a Situational Judgement Test (SJTs) which gauge personal and professional competencies, especially ethical problem solving. There are not right or wrong answers. They are scenario-based tests which assess how you make decisions. IE: how you think through a situation in real life using ethical and humanistic

Below, is a message from the AAMC about opening dates to apply for Fee Assistance for MCAT and AMCAS and opening dates for registering for April June MCAT dates. Remember to choose a site based on Covid restrictions if you will be in residence at Dartmouth.

1. Applications for the Fee Assistance Program for MCAT costs and AMCAS application costs opens February 8th. Apply before signing up for the MCAT as the MCAT fee is not retroactive. If you qualify for the FAP for the MCAT it also reduces fees for the AMCAS application. Submit the FAP application
