Dartmouth College licenses Listserv™ version 1.8E and LSMTP™ version 1.8 from Lsoft International for mailing list management.   Listserv supports:

• The option of world wide advertisement of the list topic
• Automatic processing of subscription and signoff requests
• Automatic maintenance of archives of postings. These archives can be retrieved by email or searched and read via a WWW interface at http://listserv.dartmouth.edu/Archives/index.html
• Automatic formation of daily digests of postings
• Control of the posting process, including moderation
